    - Price
    - Lack of UMTS connection

    Conclusion:

The Motorola V8 RAZR 2 features SMS with the T9 writing system, EMS, MMS and emails, even with bigger attachments. When it comes to the entertainment area, this cellphone is rather complete. The internal memory is very good, at 512MB, very rare to find in most cellphones. But it might be due to the fact that it’s not expandable. The multimedia player is compatible with mp3, AAC, MPEG4, WMA and many other formats as well. There’s no internal radio, however.

The photocamera is a 2 megapixels with 8x digital zoom, photoagenda, image editor and brightness / contrast settings, and it also records video. The lithium battery guarantees 280 hours in standby and 500 minutes when in conversation mode.

On May 2007, Motorola launched some cellphone models that represented the second line of the famous and acknowledged RAZR series. One of these was the Motorola V8 RAZR 2. Aesthetically, it’s very similar to the V* RAZR 2, and some of the functions are also similar. This model, however, doesn’t feature the UMTS connection.

The design is similar to the old V3xx models. It’s a clamshell model, with the cover made in aluminium and keys in stainless steel. It features two displays with the same resolution, 320×240 pixels, and the same number of colors - 262.000, the only difference being that the external one is a 2″.
