After the i465 and the i9, Motorola launches a new model featuring the iDEN technology, the i856 Slider. Besides the iDEN technology, the i856 doesn’t show many new features, limiting itself to a 2.2″ display, 1.3 Megapixel photocamera, bluetooth, microSD support and push-to-talk.
The i856 is expected to be launched on the third quarter of 2009, although it’s not yet sure where it’ll be distributed and what price range it’ll have.

Motorola has officially launched the MOTO VE66, previously scheduled for the end of 2008 but postponed for unknown reasons.
It features a 5 megapixel photocamera with LED flash, CrystalTalk Plus technology and widget support. The VE66 guarantees clear conversations thanks to a second microphone that registers and eliminates the background noises. In case of noisy environmnets, the Noise Adaptive Ring Tones sets the ringtone automatically, adjusting it to any situation.
Together with great telephony features, there’s also the MP3 player with FM radio, now possible to listen to the Radio without the need of headphones to function as an antenna, the Wi-Fi and many widgets such as stock market, meteorology and many downloadable contents.
The Moto VE66 is available in two versions: the basic version and the Luxury Edition.

It was first announced on July last year, and now the Motorola Ischia EM330 is back with official information this time. It’s a medium-entry level device and as such, the specifications aren’t astonishing, keeping themselves to the market’s average: 1.3 Megapixel photocamera, FM radio, 3.5mm Jack, GSM/EDGE support, microSD expansion up to 2GB and 20MB internal memory.
The Ischia also has dedicated music buttons and a series of equalizer presets. The design appears however rather old, and it makes us wonder if it’s more of an old project that took too long to be launched. It’s easy to predict that unless it’s offered for a rather competitive price, this model will not be as successful as perhaps Motorola expects it to be.

We’ve talked about this new Motorola model a few posts ago, but now it seems that FCC has in fact approved the new Evoke QA4, which could mean that the model should be launched soon.
Besides the 2.8″ display with 240×400 resolution and the 2 megapixel photocamera, the QA4 will feature a GPS with an integrated aGPS, stereo Bluetooth and Youtube/Picasa pre-installed applications. There are no other information about the technical specifications or the interface used, so we’ll have to wait for more news.

Motorola seems to have the intention to keep on aiming for the RAZR series, at least in Asia, where the new RAZR Lúk will be launched soon in South Korea.
The cellphone features the same model that made the RAZR series famous, but the difference is the white-colored cover and the internal materials covered in 18K gold. Despite the elegant look and the HSDPA support, the RAZR Lúk is destined to remain a “luxury” item, and only available in Korea for now.
