A new Motorola model, known so far with the codename Sholes, was approved by the FCC and it will be the first Motorola device to feature Android. It will also have a Wi-Fi connection, stereo Bluetooth and GPS.
The smartphone, according to unconfirmed sources, won’t be called Sholes when launched, but Motorola Tao. It’ll feature a slide QWERTY keyboard and a 480 x 854 pixel WVGA+ display. Included in the smartphone, the online services such as Google, Gmail and Google Maps. The internal 256MB RAM can be expanded with microSD card, a 16GB card should be included in the package.
Also featured on the new model are the 5 Megapixel photocamera, a GPS receiver and the 1400 mAh battery.

After our brief vacation period, we’re back with the latest Motorola news for you. Motorola has launched the new MotoBlur family at the Mobilize event at San Francisco. The MotoBlur family has an integrated messenging system that synchronizes the informations from Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Gmail, LastFm and other social networks.
One of the first devices to feature this system will be Cliq, previously known as Morrison, a device that will be first seen at T-Mobile’s Christmas catalog. The Cliq features Android, measures 114 x 58 x 15.6 mm and weighs 163 grams. It also has a 3.1″ touchscreen display with the resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, a 5 Megapixel photocamera with auto-focus, 512MB internal memory, expandable with microSD cards, HSDPA connectivity, Wi-Fi support and GPS integration.
The final price has not yet been announced.
