As for the messaging system, the device supports text messages, multimedia messages and email. The entertainment area hasn’t been neglected on the Motorola Q9: it features an mp3 player and a photocamera. Thanks to the player, it’s possible to listen to music anywhere, while the integrated 2 megapixel photocamera not only takes pictures but also makes video. It also has a flash and zoom, in order to use it even in less illuminated environments. There are also pre-installed games and the possibility of installing others.

The battery is a rechargeable 1170mAh lithium battery, although the duration is not yet known.
