This cellphone also excels in the multimedia sector. First of all, its multimedia player reads audio and video files on the most common formats such as mp3, AAC, AAC+, MPEG4. It also features a 2 megapixel photocamera which takes pictures with resolutions up to 1600×1200 pixels and records videos as well. It has a digital zoom, flash, photoagenda, image editor, autoshoot and brightness / contrast settings. A second photocamera allows users to make videocalls.

Its internal memory is rather large when compared to other models, 90MB. And it’s also expandable through microSD cards, making it possible for the Z8 RIZR to somewhat substitute a photocamer and a multimedia player, being three devices in one in a way.

The lithium battery is rechargeable and guarantees 380 hours in standby and 5 hours in conversation mode.
